Exhibits
About four times a year, the St. Michaels Art League sponsors
art exhibits and shows of its members’ work held in various
locations throughout the community.   These month-long
exhibits often challenge artists to paint to a particular theme,
e.g. “Black and White” or “Eat, Drink and Be Merry,” or simply
showcase an eclectic and diverse mix of members’ artwork.

These Exhibits and Shows are typically judged by a local
professional artist and prizes are awarded at an evening artists’
reception, which is always free and open to the public.  The
artwork is offered for sale for the duration of the exhibit.  Exhibit
venues continue to change and have recently included the St.
Michaels Library Gallery, the Tilghman Island Inn, and the
Calhoon Marine Engineering School (MEBA).
