Time to celebrate! The first Monday in December marks the annual thank-
you celebration for not only SMAL members but also for spouses, friends
and members of the community who support the arts.
A short program features a special art talk or presentation by a pro-
fessional from the art community while members and guests enjoy an
outrageous pot luck dinner. This annual event continues to draw a large
crowd – could it be the food?
In 2008, a wonderful tradition was born ... “The Martha Hudson Award for
Excellence in Watercolor” is presented at the Arty Party. Indeed, member
watercolorists present their very best for this prestigious competition.
